Started in 1987

Reinhardt Software GmbH was founded in 1987 by Marc Reinhardt. Dealing with the local market initially, our activities have constantly been extended worldwide. We went all the road from MS-Dos* to MS-Windows* and .Net now. The gained experience over the years and the positive relationships with our customers are the basis for our success in todays IT market. Software engineering and PC driven networks as complete solutions have been our prime aim.

Focus set in 1990

During the first years, we acted as subcontracted developer for larger software houses. This changed in 1990, when we started the development of our first communications system, RSCOMM 1.0. The focus was set to the shipping industry. Primarily working with telex at that time, today and three generations later, RSCOMM 4.0 is 'email minded' and reflects the needs of todays business.

During 1996, several of our clients urged us to develop a shipping system, to complement RSCOMM. The second release of RSSHIP includes a Laytime Calculation and a Hire/Freight/Commission invoicing application, as well as many enhancements regarding the existing modules Position List, Voyage Calculator, S&P Package and Fixture Database.

ISP since 1998

In 1998, we decided to complete our services to local customers in the Hamburg area. While our software was already sold worldwide, we delivered, installed and maintained networks for our local clients. Why not supplying the Internet connection and providing first class email service ? We might be the smalled real ISP in Germany with approx. 80 clients, but service is relevant, not size. Connected with lease lines of upto 100 Mbit/sec, our customers may choose from a variety of broad band solutions.
